Finishing Foreman

We’re looking for an experienced Finisher / Foreman to lead the final stages of our new build homes ensuring every property is completed to the highest standard and handed over with pride to work on a site in Nottingham.

This is a client facing role and a key position within the handover and aftercare process. You will act as the link between site operations and new homeowners, providing a seamless, professional, and personable customer experience from snagging through to move-in.

ROLE: Finishing Foreman (Nottingham Based )

Key responsibilities:

• Leading all finishing and snagging works to deliver homes that are flawless and handover-ready
• Meeting customers on site, conducting pre-handover inspections, and addressing any post-completion issues courteously
• Coordinating finishing operatives and specialist subcontractors to complete outstanding works within tight timescales
• Carrying out detailed quality inspections, logging defects, and ensuring full rectification to sign-off
• Working closely with Site Management, Customer Care, and Sales teams to ensure smooth, timely handovers
• Maintaining accurate finishing documentation including snag lists, sign-off sheets, and client reports
• Ensuring all works adhere to company standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements
• Acting as a professional, polite, and reliable ambassador for the brand at all times

• Experience in finishing, snagging, or site supervision within new build residential development
• Proven technical ability across multiple finishing trades (carpentry, plastering, decorating, tiling, etc.)
• Strong client-facing skills, with a confident and diplomatic communication style
• Experience managing small finishing teams and subcontractors
• A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Solid understanding of build sequencing, handover standards, and warranty requirements
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple plots simultaneously
• CSCS card essential; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable

• Salary is competitive – up to 45,000k
