ROLE
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies across your designated territory, driving growth across new equipment, parts, service, and refurbishment offerings for high-value capital equipment.
You will play a key role in expanding into new markets, managing existing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase revenue by converting competitors’ customers. The role will involve selling high-value capital equipment solutions into both SME businesses and large national organisations across a variety of sectors.
This is a highly autonomous role that will involve regular travel across your region, meeting clients, demonstrating equipment, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share across your region
- Build, manage and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Drive sales across high-value capital equipment, parts, service, and refurbishment offerings
- Sell solutions into both small and large businesses, understanding differing customer requirements and purchasing processes
- Identify and target new markets and business opportunities
- Manage and update CRM systems with accurate client information
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues effectively
- Conduct on-site demonstrations of equipment and support customer understanding
- Achieve and exceed annual sales growth targets (circa 20%)
- Develop strategies to convert competitor customers
- Manage your own diary and travel schedule to maximise productivity
PERSON
- Proven track record in field sales or business development, ideally involving high-value capital equipment
- Experience selling into both SME and large corporate customers would be advantageous
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a high level of drive and accountability
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving ability and commercial awareness
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing a regional territory
- Willingness to travel extensively (50–75%)
REMUNERATION
- Base Salary £55,000–£65,000
- Bonus / Commission Structure
- Company Vehicle
- 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
