Celebrating Olivia’s 5-year Anniversary at Atkins Search!

This week, we’re proud to celebrate a 5-year work anniversary for our very own Olivia Hartley!

Since joining the business in 2021, she lives and breathes the Atkins Search values every single day and continues to build strong, trusted relationships with some of the Yorkshire’s leading organisations and candidates. Please join us in congratulating Olivia on this brilliant milestone! 

Olivia’s Journey and Achievements

Olivia joined Atkins Search in 2021 as a Recruitment Consultant, being the first into the Consultancy team alongside Laura Belcher. Her consultative and ethical approach has been noticed since day one and has proved in her work ever since. Olivia has built new lasting relationships within Yorkshire and the wider Northern regions.

Throughout her time at Atkins Search, Olivia’s performance has led to multiple promotions, and in 2025 was promoted to Principal Recruitment Consultant, as a result of her hard work and dedication.

Olivia’s Reflections on her 5-year anniversary

“To be sat here reflecting on the last 5 years feels quite surreal, I’ve watched myself become unrecognisable in the best ways possible. Years of development both personally and professionally, from walking through the doors at Strelley Hall as a nervous recruitment consultant, not knowing how my confidence may grow, to now having progressed to Principal Consultant for Yorkshire, building my own brand, region and running my own desk, who’d of thought it!

Atkins Search is now known across the country for being THE construction recruitment specialist that we have worked so hard for and I’m so proud of what we have achieved so far. The team are just brilliant, I wouldn’t be without any of you – the support, kindness, and the jokes of course, is something quite rare. Everyone plays to each other’s strengths, and nothing is ever too much to ask, the way we come together in both the good and challenging times is incredible, I just love the family-feel unit we’ve created!

I feel I have genuinely become part of something super special, being part of the Atkins Search journey has been nothing short of a pleasure. My time here so far would not have been half as successful and positive without the people around me along the way, especially Laura and Ant who took me under their wing, shared every ounce of knowledge and gave me nothing but patience whilst recognising my potential, even before I did.

Laura, Laura, Laura, where do I start? Thank you for absolutely everything, I know I’ve told you time and time again, but I seriously look up to you, you’re the most incredible role model and I can’t imagine having anyone else by my side along this journey. Thank you for allowing me to be myself, the unwavering support, encouragement and belief. Absolutely none of this would have been possible without you, so thank you for everything!!

We’ve had some cracking socials over the years too, what do you meannnn we’ve been away to Palma, Benidorm, and London but then also being treated to various race days, Alton Towers, unbelievable restaurants, and even hosting a house party in the office! It’s a huge reminder of how hard everyone works and that any contribution in the room makes a huge impact to how we keep driving this forward.

The fact that this is just the beginning still baffles me and I can’t wait for the many years to come! Thank you to everyone who has played a huge part in my journey so far!!!”

Laura’s Comments on Olivia’s Anniversary

“It’s an absolute pleasure to celebrate Olivia’s 5 year work-iversary, what an incredible milestone! As the first member of the Consultancy team, Liv has been part of this journey from the start and it has been truly inspiring to watch her grow in confidence and capability over the years.

She has embraced challenges with enthusiasm, developed her skills and made such a positive and lasting contribution to the team’s and businesses success. It’s also been wonderful to see her grow not just professionally, but personally too where she has become more confident and well rounded over the years. I’m genuinely so proud of everything she has achieved and honoured to have played a small part in her journey. Liv’s dedication and progress are a real testament to her hard work and I’m excited to see all that she will go on to accomplish in the years ahead, congratulations again Liv!”
