Laura Belcher

Laura began her career in Recruitment in 2014 at Linsco, whilst working full time she completed her Business Administration Apprenticeship and was soon promoted to Recruitment Consultant, running a successful temporary Trades and Labour desk within the East Midlands division before taking on a new challenge in a different sector.

Laura spent just over a year at WB Power Services, a leading Generator specialist, as a Hire Sales Coordinator however soon realised she missed the world of fast paced Construction Recruitment and returned to Linsco, where she specialised in placing Midlands based Construction professionals into permanent appointments for Main Contractors such as Winvic, Kier Construction, Clegg Construction, nmcn PLC, Wildgoose Construction.

Laura joined Atkins Search as Senior Recruitment Consultant in early 2019 progressing from Consultant to Divisional Manager to Associate Director of our Construction and Engineering Consultancy division.

Whilst responsible for leading the team, Laura also specialises in placing Construction, Property and Engineering professionals into reputable businesses across the East Midlands, West Midlands and Yorkshire. Laura has an extensive network in her chosen discipline and is proud of the excellent partnerships she has built with some of the region’s leading businesses. She prides herself on operating in an open, honest and ethical way and enjoys achieving the best results for both her clients and candidates.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym and also plays netball at both local level and East Midlands regional level. She also follows Nottingham Forest, she has her Dad to blame for taking her to games at the City Ground from a young age! Laura is also a keen traveller, loves exploring new places and meeting new people.
