Celebrating Amy's 1 Year Anniversary at Atkins Search

This week, we’re proud to announce Amy’s 1 year anniversary at Atkins Search!

Since joining the business last year, Amy has made a lasting impact on the consultancy team, working alongside Laura, Nicole and Olivia to place construction professionals in the Northwest and West Midlands.

Amy’s Journey and Achievements

Amy joined Atkins Search in 2025 as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, working in the Northwest alongside Olivia Hartley. Throughout her year, she ventured into the West Midlands working alongside Nicole Broughton, building relationships with market leading consultancies across the regions.

Amy’s Reflections on her 1 Year Anniversary

“I can’t believe I’m celebrating one whole year with Atkins Search already! I genuinely don’t know where the last 12 months have gone, but I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I’ve enjoyed every minute of it and I’m so glad I made the decision to join the team.

When I joined Atkins Search, I came with a good level of recruitment experience, but the construction industry was completely new to me. The support, training and guidance I’ve received since day one has been brilliant, and not only do I now feel confident within the industry itself, but I also feel I’ve continued to grow as a consultant, building on and strengthening the skills and experience I brought with me.

It’s been really refreshing to be part of a business where everyone genuinely works together as one team, sharing ideas, advice, and support day in and day out. Atkins Search are known for being specialists in what we do, and it has been incredibly rewarding to play a part in growing our presence and services across the Northwest and West Midlands, supporting both new and existing businesses.

Alongside the crazy highs and inevitable lows that come with recruitment, it’s been amazing to create so many great memories with the team outside of work too! From nights out with questionable karaoke, house parties, fuddles, hikes, sports days, and our trip to Benidorm, to name just a few! The culture here is something I can’t even begin to compare to anything I’ve experienced before in my career. Having a team that I genuinely enjoy spending time with both in and out of the office is something I don’t take for granted.

I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone across the business for the support, advice and encouragement I’ve received throughout my first year, and a special thanks to Laura and Nicole for their continued guidance, patience, and belief in me since the day I joined. Thank you for always making time for me, challenging me to keep developing, celebrating the wins, helping me navigate the tougher days and, most importantly, for truly believing in me. I’m very grateful to have such strong role models and support around me.

Looking back on everything I’ve achieved over the last 12 months, both personally and professionally, makes me really proud. I’m excited to see what the future holds and to continue my journey with Atkins Search.
