Senior Recruitment ConsultantAmy began her career in childcare with Busy Bees nurseries in 2016 and worked her way up to Nursery Management, then decided after 6 years, to take on a new challenge in recruitment in 2022. Amy joined Gi Group initially as a Trainee Driving Consultant on the temp desk working predominately with British Car Auctions, this gave Amy insight into recruitment before being offered an opportunity with The Recruitment Group in 2023 to join their Permanent Division working predominately within Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Manufacturing and Transport, recruiting for Supervisors, Managers and Health and Safety roles.
At The Recruitment Group, Amy became a specialist recruiter across the North of the UK placing mid-senior level appointments. Amy quickly progressed to a Senior Consultant and then a Managing Consultant supporting a team of consultants. Amy prides herself on building strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring that she provides a consultative approach to ensure she matches the most suitable candidates to the most suitable roles and businesses. Amy always strives to deliver her best both inside and outside of work and this reflects in her strong communication skills, listening and understanding, honesty, and empathy.
Amy joined Atkins Search in 2025 as a Senior Consultant working closely alongside Olivia Hartley and Laura Belcher within the Consultancy team, specialising in placing Construction professionals such as Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Building Surveyors, within the North West and North of the UK including Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Leeds, Huddersfield and Newcastle.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, she recently got married and has a 3 year old boxer dog called Frank and loves going on lots of adventures together. Amy enjoys keeping fit at the gym and going on long walks but is also a big foodie so loves going out to eat and going to the cinema!
