Atkins Search are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy based in Birmingham.
Client
Our client is a dynamic, award winning Construction Consultancy that provides a variety of services to nation-wide across all property and built environment sectors including Industrial, Hotel & Leisure, Education, Residential, Office & Commercial and Health & Public. Our Client are looking to expand their existing team delivering fast-paced hotel refurbishment projects across the UK
Role
As Assistant Project Manager you will work alongside Senior Project Managers and Associate Directors to deliver projects from inception to completion including:
- Programme management
- Contract administration
- Risk management
- Stakeholder engagement and management
Person
- To ensure your success in this position, the ideal candidate will have:
- Post contract management
- Hold Construction related degree, ideally Project Management or Construction Management (or equivalent)
- 1-2 years Project Management experience, ideally within a Construction Consultancy environment
- Ideally working towards RICS / CIOB / APM accreditation
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Confident in a client facing environment
- Work well within a team and autonomously
