November Highlights: A Busy Month of Networking and Achievements at Atkins Search
As November wrapped up, the Atkins Search team were in full swing, making strides across the UK construction and engineering sectors. It’s been a month packed with achievements and activity including networking events and charity challenges all before the festive celebrations can begin! Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to this November.
Site Visits, Networking, and Industry Engagement
Our construction recruitment specialists were out across the country, building relationships and staying up-to-date with industry trends, especially with the Autumn Budget 2025 announcement. Ashleigh Curwood and Emma Welsh represented Atkins Search at the East Midlands Expedition, engaging directly with clients and industry partners.
The team also showcased their competitive spirit at the Turner & Townsend quiz, with Amy Hutchinson, Jess White, Laura Belcher, and Nicole Broughton forming the “Atkins Angels” team. Networking continued with Ashleigh, Laura, Olivia Hartley, and Nicole attending the Edge Construction Conusltancy Drinks event and fostering our connections across all construction sectors.
Additionally, our team co-hosted the final Netwalking session of 2025 alongside Stepnell. It was a very frosty morning, but so lovely to see so many join us at Wollaton Park and discuss how we can help them with their construction recruitment requirements.

Training and Development
Continuous professional development is at the core of how we operate at Atkins Search. This month, Laura Belcher and Emma Welsh completed the Leadership Dynamics training course to enhance their skills in leadership and strategic recruitment to guarantee we provide the best service.

Charity Challenges and Fundraising
In November, Lily-Grace Cooper, Nicole Broughton, Olivia Hartley, and Laura Belcher took on the Franklin Ellis Architects Steps Challenge in support of BBC Children in Need. Meanwhile, Antony Rowe, Olivia Hartley, Lily-Grace Cooper, and Laura Belcher smashed the Sherwood 5k and 10k run to support Tough to Talk, a pioneering charity dedicated to reducing male suicide.

Celebrating Team Culture and Festivities
November also marked the start of the festive season at Atkins Search. The office was transformed with Christmas decorations to get everyone into the festive spirit. Additionally, our client Christmas lunches began, including Laura and Nicole joining our clients Pulse Consultant and Antony and Ashleigh joining Morecrofts Electrical, brought everyone together to celebrate achievements and camaraderie.

November MVP
November’s MVP award went to our Operation Director, Laura, recognising her outstanding contribution to the team and the company this month. Laura has been able to add so much value and strategic success, so this award was very much deserved! Laura celebrated her success by spinning the prize wheel and winning a crate of beer, well done Laura!
