We are recruiting a Site Agent to support the successful delivery of major civil engineering works on a nationally significant energy infrastructure project. Role
As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing sections of work on the Sizewell C project, ensuring the safe and successful delivery of civil engineering activities from planning through to completion.
You will lead site teams, oversee subcontractors, coordinate temporary works, monitor programme performance, and ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, health and safety requirements, and quality standards.

Responsibilities
As a Site Agent, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the delivery of civil engineering works packages on site
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements
- Leading site teams including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
- Producing and reviewing RAMS, work package plans, and construction methodologies
- Monitoring project progress against programme and implementing corrective actions where required
- Managing temporary works, permits, and site documentation
- Overseeing quality assurance processes, inspections, and testing regimes
- Managing commercial awareness on site, including resource utilisation and cost control
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety, and project-specific standards
- Supporting project reporting, risk management, and programme reviews
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across site operations
Person
To be successful in this Site Agent job, you will bring strong leadership skills, technical expertise in civil engineering, and experience managing construction activities on major infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience working as a Site Agent, Sub Agent, Senior Engineer, or Section Engineer within civil engineering
- Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, rail, utilities, energy, or major projects
- Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and construction programmes
- Excellent knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Understanding of NEC contracts and project controls processes
- HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large-scale project environment
Remuneration

Package includes:
- Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience)
