Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Leeds, you will:

  • Taking the lead on a variation of construction projects while mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors and apprentices
  • Serving as the primary liaison for clients and design teams throughout both pre- and post-contract stages
  • Overseeing key client accounts and cultivating lasting professional relationships
  • Ensuring the delivery of top-tier commercial surveying services in alignment with company quality standards
  • Actively identifying growth opportunities and representing the company at industry and networking events
  • Coordinating multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations

Person

The successful applicant for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position in Leeds will demonstrate:

  • Deliver comprehensive cost management services across various construction projects in Leeds
  • Provide expert cost advice and strategic input throughout project lifecycles
  • Prepare detailed cost plans, Bills of Quantities and tender documentation
  • Manage procurement processes and contract administration for major construction projects
  • Conduct valuations, prepare payment certificates and manage final accounts
  • Monitor and report on project financial performance and risk management
  • Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value
  • Support business development activities and contribute to company growth in the Yorkshire and Northern construction sector
