A respected, well established consultancy with a strong reputation across the Midlands, delivering high quality project management services across private sector development, commercial, residential, industrial, and specialist sectors. Role

As Director, you will play a key role in leading project delivery, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the strategic development of the business. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will contribute to work winning, fee earning, and the ongoing evolution of Concept’s market presence.

This position offers a clear pathway to future senior leadership opportunities for an individual who demonstrates commercial awareness, strong consultancy instincts, and the ability to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities

As a Director, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Lead and deliver high quality project management commissions across a range of private sector schemes.
  • Support the senior leadership team with client management, ensuring continuity, quality, and long term relationship development.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, supporting bids, and strengthening Concept’s presence in the Midlands consultancy market.
  • Play an active role in diversifying and expanding the client portfolio.
  • Mentor, support, and develop junior team members, contributing to a positive, high performance culture.
  • Support the development and implementation of business strategy, including financial objectives and operational improvements.
  • Uphold and promote Concept’s values, reputation, and professional standards across all client and internal interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and best practice health and safety standards.
  • Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities, and professional forums to enhance both personal and company brand visibility.

Person

The successful candidate for this Director role will have:

  • Experienced Senior Project Manager or existing Associate Director within a Property & Construction Consultancy.
  • Strong track record of delivering private sector projects to a high standard, with the ability to gain trust and respect from clients and peers.
  • Commercially aware, with an interest in fee earning, work winning, and contributing to business growth.
  • Confident in building long term client relationships and generating repeat business through quality delivery.
  • Experience advising private sector developers and guiding clients through project strategy, risk, and best fit solutions.
  • A composed, credible communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable leadership capability, with experience mentoring or managing team members.
  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of market trends and the evolving consultancy landscape.
  • Highly organised, analytical, and solutions focused, with strong problem solving abilities.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to build a personal brand within the Midlands consultancy market.

Remuneration

In return for your expertise and leadership, our client offers a competitive and rewarding package tailored to support your growth and wellbeing:

  • Highly competitive salary £100,000 - £120,000 (depending on experience)
  • Car Allowance up to £6,000
  • Up to 6% pension contributions
