We are recruiting on behalf of a respected construction consultancy whose work is heavily focused on the delivery of affordable housing schemes for housing associations, registered providers and developers. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who has progressed from the tools into site management and is now looking to apply their technical expertise in a quality‑focused, client‑side environment.
If you have hands-on construction experience, a deep understanding of how homes are built, and a passion for improving build quality and compliance, we would like to hear from you.
The Role

- Providing clear, accurate and timely reports to clients, highlighting progress, risks and areas requiring attention.
- Building strong working relationships with site teams, contractors and client representatives.
- Supporting the delivery of affordable housing schemes by ensuring homes meet required standards, regulations and employer’s requirements.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor, using your practical background to challenge workmanship where necessary.
- Contributing to continuous improvement across the consultancy’s Clerk of Works service.
