Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Bid Writer to support the Pre construction team on behalf of an established, region-leading construction main contractor based in Derby.

Operating in both the public and private sectors, our client has a steady flow of tenders and are focused on quality not quantity.
Role
Operating as part of an award-winning Pre construction team, you would be working alongside an experienced Bid specialists, supported by a wider Pre-construction team to assist in writing high-quality bids and tenders.
Responsibilities
- Preparing Pre-qualification Questionnaires (PPQs), Request for Quotations (RFQs) and selection questionnaires (SQs) for tenders
- Format large bid proposal documents
- Working with written content & graphics to specification
- Create impactful, well designed bid / proposal documentation ready for submission
- Create additional supporting content for the bid / tender / proposal to ensure a successful bid e.g. printed models / large-format printing
- Efficient completion of tender formatting within set timelines, keeping in mind the overall submission deadline
- Attend bid/ no bid meetings
- Review win/ no win bids to identify areas of improvement and positive client results
- Assist in the design and completion of storyboards and bid plans
Person
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Desire to succeed and progress
- Ability to demonstrate document control processes and procedures
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Suite, MS Office and/or InDesign
