• Assist with monthly valuations, variation assessments and final account preparation
• Monitor project costs, cash flow forecasting and commercial performance reporting
• Support contract administration under JCT and NEC contract forms
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and design team consultants
• Attend site visits, project meetings and internal team briefings
• Provide accurate and timely cost information to support project delivery
• Develop technical knowledge through structured training and APC mentorship

To be successful in this quantity surveyor job in York, you will demonstrate:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related built environment discipline (or working towards completion)
• 1-2 years' experience in construction consultancy, contracting or cost management, or a strong academic record as a recent graduate
