We’re hiring an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in Derby to help deliver complex construction schemes across Derby and the wider Midlands region. As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work within a wide variety of sectors including healthcare, food & drink, M&E Construction, industrial/logistics, commercial, infrastructure, etc.

You will be involved in projects from inception to completion, taking on responsibilities such as:

• Providing Cost Management services from inception to completion
• Cost planning
• Cost management
• Value engineering
• Tender management
• Financial reporting
• Budget management
• Employers agent
• Valuations

To be successful in this Assistant Quantity Surveyor job in Derby, you will bring experience working within a Quantity Surveying environment, which can be through work experience or placement years as well.

• Prior consultancy experience
• BSc in Quantity Surveying or actively pursuing
• MRICS or working towards
