Role
As an Assistant Project Manager in Leicester, you'll support senior project leads in delivering construction schemes from feasibility through to practical completion. You'll assist with project coordination, document control, contractor liaison and stakeholder communication, gaining exposure to NEC and JCT contract administration.

Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager in Leicester, your responsibilities will include:
- Support project delivery across varied construction schemes
- Assist with project documentation and progress reporting
- Monitor contractor programmes and health and safety compliance
- Maintain project records, risk registers and change control documentation
- Attend site meetings and support managers in stakeholder communication
- Coordinate subcontractor submissions and material approvals
- Contribute to project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful in this Assistant Project Manager job in Leicester, you will bring enthusiasm, strong organisational skills and a willingness to learn.
- Experience as a Project Coordinator, Site Administrator or Graduate Project Manager preferred
- Background in construction main contracting or consultancy project support advantageous
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of construction processes and project lifecycles
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline desirable
- Interest in pursuing professional qualifications (APM/RICS/CIOB)
