Jess White's 1-Year Anniversary 

Jess White joined Atkins Search in 2025 as a Senior Resourcing Consultant in the construction consultancy sector, bringing a commitment to doing right by her clients and candidates within the construction sector across the East and West Midlands. She has played a key role in developing this market, building strong long-term relationships and becoming a trusted partner to both clients and candidates across the Midlands. 

Jess has been recognised multiple times as Monthly Valued Player and has achieved some spectacular results. She’s beginning to represents Atkins Search at industry networking events, making her a highly respected consultant throughout the Midlands construction sector, known for her professionalism and people-first approach. 

We asked Jess to reflect on her first years at Atkins Search so far: 

“I can’t believe it’s already been a year – where has that time gone? Although I guess time does fly when you’re enjoying what you do!

When I joined Atkins Search last year, I’d already spent over seven years in recruitment, but I was excited to step into something new with construction recruitment. With the support of a great team around me, I’ve learnt a huge amount over the past 12 months.

One of the things I’m most proud of is being part of a company that genuinely values both its candidates and clients. We take the time to understand each person properly and tailor our approach so we’re finding the right role and long-term opportunity for them, rather than just a quick fix. It’s also taught me the importance of patience, the work you put in today doesn’t always pay off straight away, but it will come around and it’s always recognised.

It’s been brilliant joining such a lively group of people, all with different personalities but who work so well together. I’ve also loved spending more time with everyone outside of work at socials – even if I am the first one to leave due to drive home!

A special thank you to Nicole and Laura for all their support during my first year and for teaching me so much along the way. Moving into a completely new industry can feel a bit daunting, but they’ve reassured me every step of the way and really helped me get to where I am now.

And of course, thank you to everyone else in the business as well. We all bring different skills and knowledge, but there’s a real shared commitment to helping each other succeed, which makes it a fantastic team to be part of.

Having a company with strong culture and values was incredibly important to me, and I’m really glad to say Atkins Search has lived up to every one of them.”
