Today we are celebrating Jade Stevenson’s 2 year anniversary here at Atkins Search.
What better way to celebrate 2 years than with Cupcake Day! The team have bought in lots of cupcakes to celebrate with Jade and make the day even more special.
Jade is our Senior Recruitment Consultant, specialising in placing construction professionals across the Design, Commercial and Preconstruction disciplines into highly reputable construction main contractors throughout the Midlands and Yorkshire.
Here is what Jade has to say about her 2 years so far at Atkins Search….
“I joined Atkins Search two years ago, when the business consisted of myself, Antony and Laura working out of a loft converted office space at the beginning of the pandemic. I joined the business to work in a professional environment where my opinion matters and I can have a genuine impact on the company’s progression. Looking back, it was a crazy decision during a world-wide pandemic, but I just knew this was going to be something special, and I wasn’t wrong. Fast forward two years and we are an ever-growing team of 10 amazing, driven individuals in a professional office in Chilwell, with plans to open in Birmingham to continue to support our West Midlands based clients. It’s almost difficult to comprehend how much we have achieved in such a small amount of time and being an integral part of this makes me incredibly proud. Everyone in our business is rewarded and recognised for their efforts and it makes work-life hardly feel like work!
During this time, I have been promoted to Senior Consultant, assisting in training and supporting our consultants and have become a specialist in my field of Design, Commercial and Preconstruction recruitment. The relationships I have built with new and existing clients and candidates are just one of the many reasons I truly love what I do. Working for Atkins Search isn’t a job, it’s a career, a life-style and a very rewarding one.. My team have supported me through the highs, the lows and I have done the same for my Atkins family, not a day goes by where they don’t put a smile on my face. The knowledge and experience held in our team is something to be in awe of. I have grown from a frantic, exhausted blue collar recruiter into a professional consultant who guides their candidates and clients through the process to achieve positive outcomes for all involved.
This is only the beginning of our journey and I’m excited to see where the road takes us next. Thank you to all involved for making these past two years such an amazing experience.”
