Atkins Search is proud to complete the 2026 Charity Challenge with colleagues, clients and industry partners coming together to complete the iconic Kinder Scout and Mam Tor Circular route in support of Treetops Hospice.
The 19.7km Peak District charity walk saw participants from Atkins Search joined by leading construction and property industry organisations including Clegg Construction, Pick Everard, Selcon Ltd and EDGE. Together, the group tackled one of the region’s most challenging walking routes, raising both vital funds and awareness for a cause that is incredibly important to everyone involved.
Supporting Treetops Hospice Through Charity Fundraising
As a specialist construction and property recruitment consultancy, Atkins Search is passionate about making a positive impact both within the industry and across the local communities we serve.
Our 2026 fundraising efforts have been dedicated to supporting Treetops Hospice, a charity that provides end-of-life nursing care, emotional support and bereavement services for adults living with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
The work carried out by Treetops Hospice makes a difference to people when they need support most, and we are proud to be contributing to such an important charity through our annual fundraising activities.
Tackling the Kinder Scout and Mam Tor Circular Route
The challenge itself consisted of a demanding 19.7km trek through the Peak District National Park, taking in the famous Kinder Scout and Mam Tor landscapes.
Participants faced steep ascents, challenging terrain and changing weather conditions throughout the day. However, the energy, determination and team spirit on display ensured that every walker successfully completed the route.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for construction and property professionals to come together outside of the workplace, strengthening industry relationships while supporting a meaningful charitable cause.
Raising £2,630 and Counting for Charity
Thanks to the generosity of our clients, candidates, colleagues and wider network, Atkins Search has raised an incredible £2,630 so far throughout our fundraising efforts this year.
Every donation made helps Treetops Hospice continue delivering essential care and support services across the local community. While we are pleased with the amount raised to date, now reaching over 50% of our annual target.
The overwhelming support received leading up to the event and following its completion demonstrates the generosity and community spirit that exists throughout the construction and property sectors.
