Atkins Search are celebrating Ashleigh’s 2-year work anniversary! 

Ash has played an instrumental part in driving our Construction sector, becoming a renowned specialist within the industry working with Mechanical and Electrical Engineering firms and Main Contractors across the Midlands and Yorkshire. 

In just two years, Ash has grown remarkably, becoming a key member of our team. Ashleigh has achieved an instrumental amount, securing two promotions, winning Employee of the Quarter twice and being named our Employee of the Year for 2024 – 2025. She has become an integral part of the team, where it’s been fantastic to watch her grow and succeed. 

Ashleigh has taken some time to reflect on the past 2 years –  

“Today marks 2 years at Atkins Search! When I joined as an Assistant Recruitment Consultant in the Main Contracting team in 2023, I never imagined how much I’d grow in such a short time. In less than two years, I’ve progressed to Senior Consultant, running my own desk and working with some of the largest contractors in the UK. I’ve also been able to shape my desk to focus on M&E appointments, giving me a real say in the clients and future direction I want to build. 

Over the past two years, I’ve had the chance to attend networking events that have pushed me out of my comfort zone and given me the confidence to build strong relationships with prospective clients. I’ve also loved being able to invite my own clients to events, something I never thought I’d be doing so early in my career. On top of that, I’ve really enjoyed organising a couple of quarterly socials, with my favourite being last summer’s Sports Day, which was a huge success and definitely brought out the competitive side of the team. 

Although it’s only been two years, I feel like I’ve been part of the team forever. The business has always given me the platform to become a true specialist in my chosen field, with continuous support and opportunities to grow, and I know this is just the start of what’s to come. 

I’m really proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m so grateful to the Atkins Search team for their support and encouragement along the way. I’m excited to see what the next chapter brings”
