A Warm Welcome to Our New Business Manager
April saw an exciting addition to the Atkins Search team as we welcomed Dan Priestley, our new Business Manager within our Construction division, working closely along side Ashleigh, Olivia and Antony. With extensive experience and a fresh outlook, Dan has already made a notable impact. We’re truly excited to see how his journey with us unfolds as he strengthens our mission to connect top talent with industry-leading opportunities.
Team Adventures: Palma Sun, Birthday Fun and a Sweet Easter Surprise
To celebrate a period of hard work, dedication, and exceptional teamwork, the Atkins Search team swapped office desks for a sunny city break and headed off for a well-deserved weekend in sunny Palma! From leisurely strolls on a food and wine tour, to vibrant sangria-fueled evenings and spontaneous shopping sprees through the charming streets, the trip was packed with laughter, relaxation, and unforgettable moments. It was a perfect opportunity to strengthen bonds, recharge our batteries, and create memories that will be talked about for years to come.
April was also packed with celebrations back home, as we marked the birthdays of both Dan and Antony. The office buzzed with excitement, and no birthday at Atkins Search would be complete without a lot of cake.
Adding even more sweetness to the month, the Easter Bunny made a visit to the office, delivering a delightful assortment of Easter eggs for the team. The unexpected treat brought smiles all around (and perhaps a few sugar-induced energy boosts!).

A special mention goes to Nic for leading an insightful training session on Desk Strategy, which was a great way to kick off and level up the new financial year helping us sharpen our recruitment expertise and drive success for our clients and candidates.

Competition Time: Edge Games Victory and Padel Tournament Tales
When it comes to a bit of friendly competition, the Atkins Search team is always ready to give it their all, with April being no exception!
At the highly anticipated Edge Games, our competitive spirit truly shone through. We excelled across the board, ultimately clinching joint 1st place after a series of thrilling challenges, with the legendary space hopper race seeing us bounce our way to victory! The excitement, teamwork, and sheer determination on display made the win all the sweeter. – Can you add in here who went please
Not stopping there, we took our competitive streak to the Cleggs Construction Padel Tournament. Although our enthusiasm and energy remained sky-high, it quickly became clear that space hopping might be more of our forte than racket sports! Despite bowing out in the second round, we gave it our best shot and continued to cheer each other on. Can you add in here who went please
Celebrating Our April MVP: Congratulations, Lily!
Atkins Search MVP; A new initiative launched this financial year where each month, we celebrate individuals who go above and beyond. In April, Lily earned the well-deserved title of Monthly Valued Player (MVP)!
Recognised by the whole team for her increased workload, positivity, and unwavering commitment, Lily’s achievement was marked with a mini trophy and a celebratory spin on the prize wheel. A huge well done to Lily for her outstanding contribution to Atkins Search this month!
