Mayur Ghedia

With over 20 years of experience in recruitment and leadership, Mayur has built a career centred on helping businesses grow through sourcing the right people and informed decision making. He began his career at McGinley, developing strong foundations in negotiation and client engagement, before moving to Rullion where he led business development for the London office, targeting major projects including the 2012 London Olympics and Westfield developments.

He later joined BMSL, an M&E subcontractor and recruitment business, where he built and led a construction focused team delivering a full turnkey solution to an extensive client base. Moving on to Barker Ross, he successfully launched and developed the London office from the ground up, expanding across London and the South and leading the successful recruitment operation for over 12 years.

Today, Mayur specialises in recruitment within the Construction and Built Environment, focusing on freelance, temporary and contract solutions and project support across the UK. He works closely with clients to deliver tailored, accurate and confidential services, providing access to key market intelligence and talent at critical stages.

His approach is straightforward, understand the brief, deliver with precision and build long term relationships based on trust and delivery.

Outside of work, Mayur (or Gaz!) enjoys watching his two teenage sons play football and rugby. For his sins, he’s also a lifelong Tottenham Hotspur fan, which, he’ll admit, may explain the lack of hair!
