As site activity increases, we’re seeking a skilled Telescopic Forklift Driver (Telehandler Operator) to support day-to-day site operations and ensure materials are moved safely and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Telehandler Operator to play a key role in site safety and logistics across a variety of construction projects.

As a Telehandler Operator on site in London, your responsibilities will include:

• Operate a telescopic forklift (telehandler) safely and in accordance with site regulations
• Transport materials such as bricks, pallets, and equipment around site
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently
• Assist tradespeople and site teams with material distribution
• Conduct daily pre-use checks and basic maintenance of the machine
• Follow instructions from site management and adhere to lifting plans where required
• Maintain a clean and organised working area
• Report any faults, hazards, or safety concerns immediately

To be successful in this Telehandler Operator job, you will need:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS card (essential)
• Previous experience operating a telehandler on construction sites
• Good knowledge of UK health & safety regulations (including HSE guidelines)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Own transport preferred (depending on site location)

Desirable qualifications:

• Lifting Operations endorsement
• Previous experience on residential or commercial construction sites
• First Aid or additional site safety training
