Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Structural Engineer to join an engineering consultancy based in Sheffield.

Role
As a Structural Engineer in this business, you will be joining a team of enthusiastic professionals working on a wide variety of exciting projects. These projects will include residential, student accommodation, industrial, education, heavy civils and commercial schemes across the UK.
The team offer a wide range of services to their clients including foundation design, retaining structures, shell structures, redevelopment of existing structures, heritage structural design working with listed buildings, temporary works and superstructure design. Joining this team will allow you to experience variety in your work and help you to develop your professional knowledge, as well as furthering your career as a part of an exciting organisation.
Responsibilities
- Work closely and effectively with other teams in the business (civil, geotechnical and geoenvironmental).
- Producing accurate structural calculations.
- Report writing.
- Preparing design quotes.
- Client Liaison.
- Supervising, checking and signing off work.
Person
- Bachelors/Masters in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Desire to become chartered or already working towards chartership.
- Minimum of 2 years Structural Engineering experience.
- Able to reliably commute to the office in Sheffield.
- Personable and comfortable working in a dynamic team.

£35,000-£45,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package including –
