Atkins Search are currently sourcing for a Site Engineer in Nottingham with previous experience delivering large-scale projects. This role has become available due to an increase in workload of our client and the upcoming project pipeline. The role is to support the established delivery team on some major projects across the Midlands.

Our client is an established, privately owned, cash rich, main contractor with nearly a century of experience in the UK construction industry. Operating through a network of regional offices, the company delivers a wide range of projects across commercial, education, industrial, and public sectors. It has a strong reputation for high-quality delivery, client collaboration, and long-standing partnerships.

The company regularly works on schemes valued between £10M–£150M, including sustainable office builds, educational campuses, and complex regeneration projects.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be involved in the delivery of education, healthcare, commercial and MOD schemes with values between £1m to £45m. Supported by a collaborative site team, you will be responsible for setting out, quality control (QA) and management of subcontractors.

As a Site Engineer in Nottingham, your responsibilities will include:

• Recording relevant information for quality and record purposes
• Lead technical aspects for site engineering works
• Supervise subcontractor works
• Implement company quality procedures
• Plan daily works with the Site Manager
• Handover completed areas and correlation of drawings
• Production of request for information schedules
• Record site engineering recourse and progress in daily journals
• Produce and present progress reports

To be successful in this Site Engineer position in Nottingham, you will be significant experience working within a main contracting construction environment, ideally for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.

• CSCS
• Dedicated, ambitious individual who takes pride in their work
• Ability to operate as part of a large, dynamic team
• Proven ability and experience delivering new build projects up to £50m in value
• Relevant degree and CAD experience
• IT literate
