ROLE

As an experienced Site Manager in Yorkshire, you will oversee new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects, managing site teams, subcontractors, and resources to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities for the Senior Site Manager

  • Lead and manage construction teams including directly employed staff and subcontractors
  • Plan, programme, and coordinate construction site activities and labour allocation
  • Work with Project Managers to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards
  • Resolve site issues promptly and implement corrective actions
  • Lead site progress meetings and liaise with contractors
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality on all construction sites

PERSON

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Site Manager who is highly organised and commercially aware, they will be able to plan, programme and oversee all aspects of site operations, from coordinating subcontractors to ensuring compliance with safety procedures. A friendly yet professional communicator, they will build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and supply chain partners while driving successful project outcomes.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager in the construction industry
  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of construction processes
  • Experience managing large-scale or multi-disciplinary projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to produce and manage construction programmes and schedules
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications:

  • HNC, HND, or Degree in a construction-related subject
  • In-date certifications such as SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Black Card, Asbestos Awareness,

REMUNERATION

Package includes:

Competitive salary – £50,000 to £65,000 (dependent on experience)
