with hybrid working available.
Please note if you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor with either current Chartered status or currently working towards Chartered status, the Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor job will offer the opportunity to progress with a clear pathway towards Associate / Partner level .

Role
A unique opportunity to become integral to a national Construction Consultancy based in Liverpool, as a Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of high value sectors, including industrial, commercial, residential and bank monitoring.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for Cost Planning at various RIBA stages, with a hands on approach throughout the project life cycle, from inception to completion.
- Providing advice on procurement strategy, risk management, value engineering and the overall tendering process
- Provide advice on contract arrangements
- Prepare tender documents
- Advising clients on tenders when received, including undertaking a full tender evaluation
- Prepare contract documentation
- Completing valuations
- Change monitoring
- Variations
- Budget management
- Negotiating final accounts
- Working closely with the Team and mentoring / working with graduates
- Developing existing Client contacts and relationships
- Developing new Client contacts and relationships
Person
The successful candidate for the Senior Chartered Quantity Surveyor job will be able to evidence pre and post contract Quantity Surveying experience through examples of projects you have worked on.
- Have obtained a RICS qualified degree
- Have achieved MRICS status or working towards chartership
