As a Senior Project Manager in Nottingham, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex construction projects within a defence and secure-environment portfolio, administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts and driving performance across programme, cost, risk, and quality.

You will act as the primary point of contact for key client relationships, chair project meetings, and provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to Project Manager-level colleagues. The role is predominantly office-based in Nottingham with planned travel to regional project sites as required.

As a Senior NEC Project Manager in Nottingham, your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead NEC3 and NEC4 contract administration across complex defence-sector capital programmes.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through procurement, delivery and handover.
• Manage and report on programme, cost, risk and quality performance for multiple concurrent projects.
• Act as primary client contact, chairing progress meetings and managing key stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with defence-sector governance, CDM 2015, and internal quality frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and support to Project Manager-level team members.
• Produce detailed project reports and briefings for Associate Director and Director-level leadership.
• Contribute to bid writing, and consultancy growth initiatives.

To succeed in this Senior Project Manager role in Nottingham, you will bring:

• Substantial experience delivering construction or infrastructure projects as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within a consultancy environment.
• Strong, demonstrable knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts (NEC accreditation is highly desirable).
• Proven ability to lead complex programmes and manage multi-disciplinary stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrable experience mentoring and guiding junior project management professionals.
• Ability to obtain BPSS Security Clearance (existing clearance is a significant advantage).
• Degree-level qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or similar.

Professional membership including APM PMQ/ChPP, MCIOB, or MRICS (or actively working towards chartership).

Full UK driving licence.
