Role
As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering interesting projects with a hands-on approach throughout the whole project life cycle from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the client's requirements.
- Procurement
- Attending/leading on pre-start meetings
- Pre-construction
- Programme management
- Client-side project management
- Report writing
- Liaising directly with client and contractors
- Contract administration
- Risk management
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Post contract management
- Assisting/managing a team of junior/intermediate project managers
Person
The successful Senior Project Manager will be able to demonstrate and will adhere to the above job description, as well as having –
- A Construction related degree (BSc or MSc)
- Experience delivering projects on time and in budget in an autonomous manner
- Previous Project Management experience in a Consultancy setting
- Experience supporting or managing junior project management professionals
- NEC4 qualification
- Chartership or working towards (MCIOB, MRICS etc)
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to build, maintain and develop working relationships
