Our construction consultancy distinguished client, a highly reputable, large, multi-disciplinary construction business are continuing in growing as they conquest winning projects across the country. Therefore, are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager position to join them in their Birmingham office.

Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering the prestigious schemes with a hands-on approach throughout the project life cycle from inception to completion across a variety of sectors, including but not limited to; Defence, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Commercial Developments, and Industrial.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising at a strategic level at the project conception stage
  • Leading the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
  • Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
  • Project planning
  • Advising upon the procurement of resources
  • Leading the overall cross-functional project team
  • Monitoring performance, including the use of
    KPI’s
  • Monitoring and advising upon project finances
  • Taking responsibility for business development – including cross selling
  • Attending client meetings and reporting to Associate directors

Person

The ideal Senior Project Manager will:

  • Have experience in a similar role in the construction environment, ideally consultancy
  • Have a Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
  • Proven experience in managing commercial projects
  • Have the ability to engage with project stakeholders, and ability to deal with issues appropriately and constructively
