Role
There is now an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Manager to join a diverse and advanced blend of professionally qualified and personable Cost Managers, Project Managers & Building Surveyors all working together to deliver successful & quality outcomes and build a reputable and positive legacy.
The successful candidate will be involved in projects from inception to completion with responsibilities which will include:
- Overseeing and mentoring junior members of staff including assistants and apprentices
- Providing Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services from inception to completion
- Cost Planning
- Development Cash flow Forecasting
- Value Engineering
- Tender Management
- Contract Preparation
- Budget Management
- Financial Reporting
- Change Control
- Valuations
- Commercial Negotiations and Analysis
- Benchmarking
Person
- Previous experience working with a Construction Consultancy
- Exposure to various industry sectors
- RICS, MRICS or working towards chartership
- Fantastic communication skills face to face
- Positive 'can do' attitude!
- Experience autonomously delivering projects
- Ability to manage own workload
