Atkins Search are working with a respected engineering consultancy based in Derby to recruit for a Senior Civil Engineering Technician. This would see successful applicants becoming a part of a team working on interested and complex projects.
Client
Our client is an established consultancy who have over 20 years industry experience working on varied projects across the UK. They have developed a reputation for the standard of work that they deliver and pride themselves on the level of repeat business they receive.
Role
Joining the business as a Senior Civil Engineering Technician you will be working with the wider team to produce accurate drawings for structural and civil build assets using the latest 2D and 3D software.
As a Senior Civil Engineering Technician you will be a key member of the team and be expected to guide junior members of the team and take a lead role in larger schemes to plan work delegate to other technicians in the design team.
Responsibilities
- Produce high quality drawings using a range of software including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Manage workload on multiple projects at any one time.
- Working to tight deadlines.
- Mentoring junior members of the team.
- Take an active role in the improvement company and drawing office procedures.
- Adhere to current legislation and industry design standards including CDM.
Person
- Advanced working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software detailing steel, concrete & reinforced concrete.
- Experienced within design and build construction projects.
- 5 years industry experience minimum.
- Working knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Excellent communicator.
Remuneration
£35,000-£45,000 plus comprehensive benefits package including –
