Chartered Building Surveyors & Associates will also be considered for this role.

My client can offer a Senior Building Surveyor a diverse workload that is tailored to your preferences and the opportunity to become a truly integral part of their growing Construction Consultancy based in Birmingham. You will have the option to work across a variety of sectors across the West Midlands and wider regions, including education, healthcare, residential, leisure, mixed-use developments, heritage and conservation.
Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor part of a Birmingham based Construction Consultancy, you will be working alongside major clients and Commercial Developers on a variety of interesting projects across the West Midlands, and wider regions.
Work includes project work, professional building surveying, contract administration, dilapidations, party wall and principal designer across a variety of exciting schemes! You will be also be involved in client development, financial forecasting and growth.
Other responsibilities as a Senior Building Surveyor will include:
- Hands on delivery of building surveying services
- Leading projects
- Client management and development
- Technical reviews to manage the quality of services
Person
The Birmingham based Senior Building Surveyor will be able to portray a successful background in delivering projects, as well as:
- RICS, MRICS or APC (or working towards)
- Construction Consultancy experience (desirable)
- Strong technical building surveying background
- Experience of autonomously delivering projects
- Ability to manage own workload
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- An analytical mind combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations
