Please note that Assistant Quantity Surveyors, Assistant Cost Managers and Assistant Cost Consultants will also be considered for the Quantity Surveyor job!

Role
My client are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their Construction Consultancy based in Manchester due to continued growth and business development. You will be involved in working across a wide variety of large, exciting projects across both public and private sectors.
Ideally, the Quantity Surveyor will have prior Quantity Surveying experience within a Construction Consultancy setting – delivering and providing commercial responsibilities across a projects life cycle.
Responsibilities
Possessing previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for reporting directly into and supporting the Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyors across multiple projects. The Quantity Surveyor will also be able to demonstrate the following on a day-to-day basis:
- Cost planning
- Cost management
- Value engineering
- Tender management
- Financial reporting
- Budget management
- Employers agent
- Valuations
