Role
As a Project Manager based in Manchester, you will play a crucial role in delivering large high-quality schemes across the Northwest, including cladding and remediation schemes, with a hands-on approach throughout the full project lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to work across a range of sectors including but not limited to; Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, and Retail.

Responsibilities
As a Project Manager in Manchester, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage construction project delivery across a range of sectors.
- Lead procurement, contract negotiation and subcontractor coordination.
- Oversee programme management to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Chair client and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Assisting the Senior Project Manager with day-to-day activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality standards and internal governance.
- Support senior leadership in continuous improvement, project profitability and team development.
Person
To be successful in this Project Manager job in Manchester you must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding and experience of construction project delivery, having managed and delivered own projects with minimal supervision. You should have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, or an Assistant Project Manager with the relevant experience to step up competently
- Construction related degree
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to manage relationships effectively
- A proactive approach to achieving results
- A positive “can do” attitude
- MRICS qualified or working towards
- NEC & JCT Contract experience
