Atkins Search are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a market-leading Built Environment Consultancy, based in Birmingham. The client is looking for a Project Manager due to their continuing success and ongoing expansion, they have an opportunity for a Project Manager looking to develop their career within their Project Management Office team.

Please note – Assistant Project Manager with the relevant level of experience seeking the next stage of their career will also be considered for the role of Project Manager.

Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exciting projects, from inception to completion, with a hands-on approach throughout the project life cycle. To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery as a Project Manager.

The Project Manager services you will provide include:

  • Assisting with the day to day delivery of projects
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Development of project documentation and reporting
  • Identifying and developing innovative solutions for clients
  • Assisting with leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams
  • Producing reports to suit relevant stages of the projects
  • Conducting feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc
  • Monitoring and reporting on contractor’s progress on site
  • Supporting the team in developing new business opportunities
  • Supporting the team managing existing client relationships
  • Attending, chairing and recording meetings as appropriate
  • Developing skills that will enable you to provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the client
