Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of projects, they are seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their Sheffield team.
Role
As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant based in Sheffield, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting Architects and senior team members in the development of design proposals across a range of projects.
- Preparing architectural drawings, plans, visualisations and technical documentation.
- Assisting with planning applications, building regulations submissions and project coordination activities.
- Working across RIBA work stages from concept design through to technical delivery.
- Attending project meetings and liaising with consultants, clients and contractors where appropriate.
- Producing detailed design information using Revit and other relevant design software.
- Supporting the preparation of presentation materials and client reports.
- Assisting with site visits, surveys and monitoring project progress throughout delivery.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and project deadlines.
- Contributing ideas and creative solutions to support successful project outcomes.
Person
The successful candidate for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant role will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Successfully completed a RIBA Part 2 qualification in Architecture.
- Previous experience working within an architectural practice.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential.
- Strong design and technical detailing abilities.
- Knowledge of UK planning policy, building regulations and construction methodologies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads across multiple projects.
- Creative mindset combined with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and enthusiasm for professional development.
- Ambition to progress towards Part 3 qualification and registration as an Architect.
Remuneration
