Atkins Search are recruiting for a Marketing Officer to join our prestigious client, an award-winning construction and civil engineering contractor.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious marketing professional to join a growing business and play a key role in enhancing brand awareness, supporting strategic growth, and delivering engaging marketing campaigns across the UK and Ireland. This position is offered on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.

ROLE

As a Marketing Officer, you will support the promotion of projects, services and the company brand across a variety of channels throughout the UK and Ireland.

Working within a small and agile team, you will be involved in all aspects of marketing activity, including content creation, social media management, photography, videography, design, events and campaign delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Marketing Officer in Kegworth, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Plan and deliver marketing activities that promote the company's projects, services and brand.
  • Produce creative content including photography, drone imagery, graphics and video content from concept through to final delivery.
  • Design engaging materials including presentations, infographics, digital graphics and promotional literature.
  • Create and manage content across social media platforms, websites, press releases and short-form video channels.
  • Support the planning and delivery of company events, project launches, site visits and promotional activities.
  • Monitor marketing performance and provide reporting and analysis on campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate multiple marketing projects in line with departmental marketing plans.
  • Manage and monitor marketing budgets and provide updates for internal meetings and board reports.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders across the business.
  • Deliver professional and engaging communications aligned with company values and brand standards.
  • Support social value initiatives and community engagement activities.

PERSON

To be successful in this Marketing Officer job, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Degree qualified in Marketing, Design, Communications or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within a similar marketing position.
  • Experience within the construction, engineering or built environment sector would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Canva.
  • Strong experience creating visual content including photography, videography and editing.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop concepts and deliver professional marketing outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently whilst contributing positively within a team environment.

REMUNERATION
