This is a great opportunity for experienced Labourers to secure ongoing work across a variety of construction environments and contribute to high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities
As a Labourer in London, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting tradespeople such as bricklayers, carpenters, and electricians
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Preparing and maintaining work areas, ensuring they are clean and safe
- Operating basic hand and power tools
- Following site health and safety regulations at all times
- Assisting with site setup and dismantling
- Moving materials around the site as required
- Performing general manual labour tasks as directed by the site supervisor
Person
To be successful in this Labourer job, you will need:
- Previous experience in a construction or labouring role is essential
- Valid CSCS card
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of health and safety on construction sites
- Good communications skills
Desirable skills:
- Experience using power tools
- Knowledge of construction processes
- Driving licence (advantageous but not essential)
