As a Bid Manager in Nottingham, you will lead the bid process from opportunity identification through to submission. Working closely with Estimating, Design, Project Delivery, Commercial, Marketing and Business Development teams, you will coordinate high-quality tender submissions that directly contribute to business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced bid professional looking to take ownership of the company's bid strategy, manage multiple tender opportunities and drive continuous improvement across the bidding function. You'll lead bids across education, healthcare, residential and commercial sectors, ensuring submissions are both compliant and commercially compelling.

This is a full-time office-based role located in Nottingham, providing close collaboration with key stakeholders and senior leadership.

As a Bid Manager in Nottingham, your key responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process, including tender submissions, PQQs, framework bids and expressions of interest.
• Develop winning bid strategies and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality submissions.
• Review tender documentation to identify key client requirements, risks, opportunities and differentiators.
• Facilitate bid kick-off meetings and manage bid programmes to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical, commercial and operational teams to gather information and shape compelling responses.
• Manage and develop bid content libraries, case studies, CVs and supporting materials.
• Ensure all submissions are compliant, professionally presented and aligned with brand standards.
• Conduct bid reviews and quality assurance checks prior to submission.
• Lead post-tender reviews and implement lessons learned to improve future bid performance.
• Support the wider business development strategy by identifying pipeline opportunities and contributing to client engagement activities.

To be successful in this Bid Manager job in Nottingham, you will bring proven experience delivering successful bid and tender submissions. Ideally, you'll have worked within construction, consultancy or a related built environment sector, although strong candidates from other industries will also be considered.

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager, Senior Bid Writer, Proposal Manager or similar tender management professional.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex bids and leading submission programmes from inception to completion.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors.
• Exceptional writing, editing and communication abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience implementing bid management processes, governance and quality assurance procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and bid management tools.
• Knowledge of construction procurement processes, frameworks and public sector tendering would be advantageous.
