Our client has a great reputation and has grown from a regional contractor into a multi disciplinary construction & civil engineering company operating across UK & Ireland.
Our client is known for delivering mid sized projects across public & private sectors, particularly residential, education & infrastructure.
ROLE
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, our client is looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of building projects across the Midlands region.
You will work closely with the Site Manager to help drive projects forward, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the day-to-day management of site operations
- Support in ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
- Monitor progress against programme and report updates to senior site team
- Ensure quality standards are maintained across all aspects of the build
- Help manage materials, logistics, and site documentation
- Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain
PERSON
To be successful in this Assistant Site Manager job in the East & West Midlands, you will bring proven experience managing build, maintenance and refurbishment projects, ideally within the social housing sector or working with local authorities.
Previous experience in a Site Supervisor / Assistant Site Manager / Trainee Site Manager role within construction
- Knowledge of LABC / NHBC Regulations
- Background working on building projects (residential, education, commercial, etc.)
- Good understanding of construction processes and site operations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or similar – desirable)
RENUMERATION
