OverviewAtkins Search are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK's leading main contractors, operating out of their regional office in Cambridge.ClientAn award-winning principal main contractor with over a decade's experience, our client are a reputable, relationship driven business focussed on delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. RoleAs an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be an intrinsic member of the Commercial team, focussed on supporting the delivery of a wide variety interesting schemes across the public and private sectors including healthcare, education, blue light, MOD, MOJ and heritage with values between £10m - £30m. Responsibilities
Administration and management of costs and contracts relating to projects
Assist in the preparation and agreement of applications for payment
Assist in cost monitoring of site resources
Work closely with the Quantity Surveying team to offer support and develop experience Person
Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
