- OverviewAtkins Search are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join one of the UK's leading main contractors, operating out of their regional office in Cambridge.ClientAn award-winning principal main contractor with over a decade's experience, our client are a reputable, relationship driven business focussed on delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. RoleAs an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be an intrinsic member of the Commercial team, focussed on supporting the delivery of a wide variety interesting schemes across the public and private sectors including healthcare, education, blue light, MOD, MOJ and heritage with values between £10m - £30m. Responsibilities
- Administration and management of costs and contracts relating to projects
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of applications for payment
- Assist in cost monitoring of site resources
- Work closely with the Quantity Surveying team to offer support and develop experience Person
- Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
