Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Architect to join a leading architectural practice based in Sheffield. With regional success and a passion for quality led services, this is a great opportunity to join a RIBA Chartered Practice where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects from technical design through to construction, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal design teams.
This position is ideally suited to an architect with strong technical expertise, excellent construction knowledge, and a passion for delivering practical, innovative and buildable design solutions across a range of sectors.

Role
As an Architect, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and contributing to projects
- Producing detailed technical drawings, specifications and construction information.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, contractors and external consultants.
- Attending client, design team and site meetings.
- Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction progress.
- Responding to technical queries and resolving construction-related issues.
- Supporting junior team members and sharing technical knowledge across the practice.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
Person
To be successful in this role, the Architect will be able to demonstrate:
- ARB-registered Architect qualification.
- Proven post-qualification experience within UK architectural practice. Ideally 1 – 5 years
- Strong technical and construction detailing knowledge.
- Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction standards.
- Experience delivering projects through technical design and construction phases.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable:
- Experience within the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and project coordination.
- Contract administration experience.
- Principal Designer knowledge and understanding of CDM regulations.
