Architectural Technologist
Overview
Atkins Search are currently working in partnership with a well‑established multi-disciplinary construction consultancy in Wakefield, who’re currently looking to appoint an Architectural Technologist to join their growing team. This role suits someone who enjoys being hands‑on with projects, values a supportive team environment, and wants to develop their technical capability within a respected local practice.

Renowned for their unique approach to service delivery, our client work across a mix of residential, commercial, healthcare, education and industrial projects, with a strong pipeline of repeat clients and long‑standing relationships across the region.
Role
As Architectural Technologist working within a close-knit team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing and coordinating technical information for tender and construction
- Ensuring compliance with current building regulations and industry standards
- Supporting and coordinating across RIBA stages 3-5
- Liasing and working closely with the wider team and contractor
- Drawings and spec package production, as well as construction-details
- Utilise CAD and Revit software’s

- Be able to work well both in a team and independently
- Experience as an Architectural Technologist within a UK practice
- Strong technical knowledge and confidence producing detailed drawing packages
- Ability to manage workload and contribute positively to the team
- Understanding of importance regarding delivery pressures
- 2-5 years industry experience
Remuneration
In return, the Architectural Technologist will be rewarded with a highly competitive benefits package, inclusive of:
- Market leading basic salary – up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
