Will Atkinson

After 16 years in professional sport, playing football across England’s top 4 leagues for teams such as Hull City, Bradford City, Port Vale and Mansfield Town, Will made the switch to recruitment in early 2023 gaining a year’s experience at Elizabeth Michael Associates working as a recruitment consultant before joining Atkins Search in 2024.

In his new role as a Resourcing Consultant; he specialises in placing Construction, Property and Engineering professionals into reputable businesses across the East Midlands, West Midlands and Yorkshire.

Now looking to add value and transfer some of his key attributes to the Atkins Search team Will, originally from East Yorkshire found himself moving up and down the country playing for numerous football clubs and experiencing the many highs and lows that competitive sport throws at you before settling in the East-Midlands.

Outside of office hours you’ll usually find Will in a country park somewhere getting dragged around by his husky or catching up with friends and family. He is also a Hull City fan which isn’t ideal in an office full of Nottingham Forest fans.
