His extensive expertise in the engineering recruitment sector, specifically in contract and freelance roles, positions him perfectly to lead and grow Atkins Search’s new engineering division.

Having worked his way up from consultant to senior leadership roles, Rob has developed a deep understanding of the recruitment process and a sharp ability to deliver exceptional results in highly competitive markets. He has successfully managed teams, developed sales strategies, and cultivated strong relationships with clients in the engineering sector, all while exceeding performance targets and spearheading business development initiatives.

Before joining Atkins Search, Rob’s career trajectory saw him gain valuable experience in recruitment within the engineering sector, with a particular focus on white-collar contract roles. His background also includes leadership positions in B2C sales and time spent working in Ibiza. Rob holds a BA Hons Degree from De Montfort University.

At Atkins Search, Rob is dedicated to growing the firm’s engineering division, initially focusing on the Midlands market for contract and freelance roles, with plans to expand nationally and diversify into permanent placements. His deep industry knowledge, combined with his strategic leadership and client-focused approach, will be key in driving the division’s success and supporting the company’s long-term growth.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys a wide range of hobbies that reflect his well-rounded personality. He’s an enthusiastic golfer, a musician (drums and guitar), and wannabe DJ. Rob also gives back to the community by volunteering as a coach for a grassroots football team, and he enjoys spending quality time with his two young children.
