With nearly 20 years of experience in the recruitment industry, Laura has built an accomplished career across recruitment, sales leadership, client development, and talent acquisition. Her recruitment career began in 2007 with Gi Group (Then Right4staff), one of the UK’s leading recruitment businesses, where she joined as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Over the following decade, Laura progressed through a variety of roles including Senior Consultant, Account Manager, Branch Manager, and leadership positions, developing expertise across Industrial, Commercial, Logistics, Education, HR, and multi-sector recruitment.

Before joining Atkins Search, Laura specialised within Human Resources recruitment, partnering with organisations to attract HR and finance professionals across a range of industries. This breadth of experience enables her to understand both the technical requirements of a role and the wider strategic impact that hiring decisions can have on a business.

In 2026, Laura joined Atkins Search as a Senior Recruitment Consultant working alongside Principal Consultant Olivia Hartley, placing construction professionals in consultancies Yorkshire and Leeds. Laura brings her approachable personality, commercial mindset, and genuine interest in helping people succeed to the team whilst creating meaningful connections that benefit both clients and candidates.

Outside of work, Laura loves travelling and exploring new destinations, combining her passion for seeing the world with discovering local cultures and experiences. A self-confessed foodie, she enjoys trying new restaurants, cuisines, and hidden gems wherever she goes. Most importantly, she values spending quality time with her teenage daughter and her two cats, Reggie and Kiki, who are very much part of the family and keep life at home entertaining.
