Joshua Perez Bedford

Josh first began his career at Toyota Nottingham working as an Apprentice Service Advisor, which was dealing with customers face to face to manage the service process and ensure customers were happy. Shortly after completing the apprenticeship, Josh was offered a role at its partner company Lexus in which the role developed to leading a small team to reach monthly and quarterly sales targets. Working as part of the service department he was responsible for setting, meeting and (exceeding!) the customers expectations throughout the experience.

Following Josh’s time at Lexus, he worked for a direct marketing company in Nottingham, this entailed offering face to face financial advice. After establishing himself, the opportunity rose to lead the team by demonstrating the sales techniques and coaching sales techniques in order to succeed. Whilst working for the business, Josh was also tasked to lead networking groups and deliver sales impacts to improve the overall team averages, these are all skills Josh is now implementing whilst working at Atkins Search.

Josh joined Atkins Search in 2023 as a Recruitment Consultant and works within our Freelance division, specialising in placing Construction professionals into reputable Construction Main Contractors across the East Midlands, West Midlands and South Yorkshire.

Josh has had a passion for all things football since a very young age and has played for local teams in Nottingham throughout his life, football is somewhere he enjoys being a part of a team and enjoys challenging himself in different environments. For his sins, he is a Manchester United fan and enjoys watching games to Old Trafford when he can! Josh also enjoys learning new cultures by travelling across Europe and now has ambitions to venture to further continents.
