Adam Shaw

Adam began his career as Recruitment Resourcer for Linsco Recruitment in 2018, working to support a team of Consultants with a busy trades and labour desk, specialising in the provision of temporary staff at short notice.

Following this, Adam progressed his career and joined Brook Street Recruitment as a Consultant in 2021, specialising in recruiting for temporary business support positions across the East Midlands. After 18 months as a consultant and having grown his own desk rapidly, Adam progressed into a management role, overseeing temporary recruitment for the Nottingham and Coventry offices whilst continuing to run a successful temporary desk.

Adam joined Atkins Search in 2023 as a Recruitment Consultant to step into permanent recruitment, bringing with him a well-rounded background of the industry. Working as part of the Permanent Consultancy team, Adam specialises in placing engineering professionals into engineering consultancies and civil engineering contractors across the Midlands and South Yorkshire. Roles covered include Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Flood Risk Engineers, Technicians, Site Engineers and Quantity Surveyors from graduate through to director level.

Outside of the office, Adam is a keen Nottingham Forest fan and tries to get to the City Ground as much as possible. He also loves to travel and is excited to continue to see as much of the world as possible over the coming years.
