Adam Shaw

Adam began his career as Recruitment Resourcer for Linsco Recruitment in 2018, working to support a team of Consultants with a busy trades and labour desk, specialising in the provision of temporary staff at short notice.

Following this, Adam progressed his career and joined Brook Street Recruitment as a Consultant in 2021, specialising in recruiting for temporary business support positions across the East Midlands. After 18 months as a consultant and having grown his own desk rapidly, Adam progressed into a management role, overseeing temporary recruitment for the Nottingham and Coventry offices whilst continuing to run a successful temporary desk.

Adam joined Atkins Search in 2023 as a Recruitment Consultant to step into permanent recruitment, bringing with him a well-rounded background of the industry. Working as part of the Permanent Construction Team, Adam is focussed on placing Construction professionals into reputable Main Contractors across the East Midlands, West Midlands and South Yorkshire on a permanent basis. He specialises in Commercial, Preconstruction and Technical appointments such as Design Management, Quantity Surveying and Estimating from Assistant to Senior level for some of the region’s leading main contractors.

Outside of the office, Adam is a keen Nottingham Forest fan and tries to get to the City Ground as much as possible. He also loves to travel and is excited to continue to see as much of the world as possible over the coming years.
