Our client, a respected regional main contractor, is seeking an Site Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

ROLE
The business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of construction sites in and around the Peterborough area, within a 50-mile radius.
Our client has a range of customers in a variety of sectors including affordable housing, food, retail, education, commercial, industrial and health
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate and manage site staff and contractors.
- Plan and programme all site activities, including labour management.
- Work closely with Contracts/Project Managers to ensure work progresses according to schedule and budget.
- Identify and resolve issues promptly, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Lead progress meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance
PERSON
To be successful in the Site Manager role, you will have:
- Previous site management experience is essential; ideally housing, commercial and industrial jobs.
- You must be able to plan all aspects of construction operations and produce construction programmes. Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and strong commercial awareness are required.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and people management skills are essential. You must be friendly and professional at all times when directly dealing with colleagues, contractors, clients, professionals and all others within the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Relevant up-to-date certifications such as SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS card, asbestos awareness, working at height, and scaffold inspection.
- Full driving licence.
